Wappkit Labs — Firestore GUI

1. Parties and scope

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (an individual or a legal entity, "You") and Wappkit Labs ("Wappkit", "we", "us"), the developer of the software product Firestore GUI (the "Product"), distributed as a plugin for JetBrains IDEs.

Wappkit is the licensor of the Product. This EULA governs Your use of the Product.

JetBrains s.r.o. ("JetBrains") is not a party to this EULA. JetBrains does not license the Product to You, provides no warranty for the Product, and bears no liability in connection with the Product. Where You acquire a paid license through JetBrains Marketplace, JetBrains acts solely as a reseller of the license on Wappkit's behalf. JetBrains' own terms govern Your use of JetBrains products and the Marketplace itself, and those terms apply separately from this EULA.

2. Acceptance

By installing, activating, or using the Product, You agree to be bound by this EULA. If You do not agree, do not install or use the Product.

If You accept this EULA on behalf of a company or other legal entity, You represent that You have authority to bind that entity.

3. License grant

Subject to Your compliance with this EULA and, for paid licenses, payment of the applicable fees, Wappkit grants You a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to:

install the Product on devices that You own or control;
use the Product for Your own internal business or personal purposes, within the scope of the license You acquired (see Section 4);
make a reasonable number of backup copies of the Product for archival purposes.

Per-seat scope. Unless Your license states otherwise, one license entitles one individual user to use the Product. The Product may not be shared between users or installed for concurrent use by more than the number of users covered by Your license.

4. License types

Where the Product is provided as a paid plugin through JetBrains Marketplace, the license term and seat count are those shown in Your purchase confirmation.

5. License keys and activation

Paid licenses are delivered as a license key and activated inside the Product. You are responsible for keeping Your key confidential. Wappkit may provide a key retrieval path using the original order details; this does not create an account obligation.

Wappkit may implement technical measures to verify a valid license. You may not circumvent, disable, or tamper with those measures.

6. Restrictions

You may not:

copy, distribute, publish, rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or otherwise make the Product available to any third party, except as expressly permitted in Section 3;
modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Product;
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Product, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice in the Product;
use the Product to develop a competing product, or to benchmark it for publication without Wappkit's prior written consent;
use the Product in violation of any applicable law or regulation, or in any way that infringes the rights of others;
use the Product to process data that You are not lawfully entitled to access.

7. Updates and support

Wappkit may, but is not obligated to, provide updates, bug fixes, or new versions. Updates are licensed under this EULA unless accompanied by a separate license. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis through the channels listed at https://www.wappkit.com/. No specific response time or service level is guaranteed unless separately agreed in writing.

8. Data and privacy

The Product operates locally within Your IDE. It connects to Google Cloud Firestore using credentials that You supply (a service account JSON file or a local emulator host). Wappkit does not receive, collect, or store Your Firestore data, Your credentials, or Your query results.

Where the Product transmits license-validation data (for example, to confirm a license key), that transmission is limited to what is necessary for validation. Details of data handling are described in the Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for compliance with the terms of any third-party service You connect to through the Product, including Google Cloud terms.

9. Intellectual property

The Product, including all copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in it, is and remains the exclusive property of Wappkit and its licensors. This EULA grants You a license to use the Product; it does not transfer ownership.

Third-party components included in the Product are governed by their own licenses, which are listed in the Product's third-party notices.

10. Warranty disclaimer

THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wappkit expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Wappkit does not warrant that the Product will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that it will meet Your requirements or produce any particular result. You assume the entire risk as to the results and performance of the Product.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Wappkit be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to this EULA or the Product, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if Wappkit has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Wappkit's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to this EULA or the Product shall not exceed the amount actually paid by You for the Product in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or, if the Product was provided free of charge, ten US dollars (USD 10).

Nothing in this EULA excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wappkit and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

Your use of the Product in breach of this EULA;
Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party;
any data or credentials You supply to the Product.

This obligation does not extend to claims arising from Wappkit's own gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

13. Term and termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if You breach any of its terms. Wappkit may also terminate it if Wappkit discontinues the Product, in which case paid perpetual licenses for the version already obtained remain valid for that version.

Upon termination You must stop using the Product and delete all copies. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

This EULA is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in Xiamen, Fujian, China shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in Your country of residence provides otherwise.

If any provision of this EULA is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary.

This EULA is the entire agreement between You and Wappkit regarding the Product and supersedes any prior agreement on that subject. It may be amended by a revised version published at this URL; continued use after publication constitutes acceptance.
